Sinbad and crew found themselves in the middle of a ghost story come to life in this episode.  They came across a boy named Xander in the forest and decided to help him on his quest to save his mother.  A horrible battle had taken place just before they arrived, Xander's father was killed, and an evil man named Draxus had taken the throne.  On their journey, Maeve found out that Xander had died in the battle as well, but if Draxus found out, his mother would be killed.  Before he died, Xander's father had cursed Draxus so he would not be able to sleep as long as the rightful heir to the throne was alive.  Xander may have died, but his brother was alive in his mother's womb, unbeknownst to Draxus.  Sinbad and his crew helped the boy in his quest and looked on as he joined his father in the afterlife.
