Sinbad and crew made an unscheduled stop to gather more supplies and provisions and came across a charming ruler named Vincenzo.  In addition to being king, Vincenzo was a brilliant artist who created dozens of beautiful statues.  Sinbad was wary of Vincenzo from the start (not only because of how Maeve acted around him) and found out that everything was not as it seemed.  Vincenzo was actually a bad guy who crafted a pair of magic gloves that turned anything he touched into stone.  He got rid of the former king and queen and was able to make a masterpiece out of Maeve before Sinbad and the guys got back to the palace.  Sinbad was so distraught and was able to return everyone back to human form by killing Vincenzo.
