The Mole was a reality show in which contestants competed for up to a million dollars.  The twist was that one of the contestants was a mole out to sabotage the team and keep them from earning as much money as they could. We were fans of the first two seasons of the show.

What was The Mole about?

The Mole was a unique reality show where contestants worked as a team to earn as much money as possible while one contestant was secretly working against them and attempting to sabotage the others in each challenge. While some of the challenges were physical, The Mole was a much more mental game, and contestants were "executed" based on how well they performed on a quiz about the Mole's identity each week. There were five seasons of the show, two of which were celebrity editions that we did not watch.

What was the best part about the show?

The best part of the show was that the challenges the contestants had to do each week were well thought out and interesting.  It was also fun to try and figure out who the Mole was along with the contestants.

What was the worst part about the show?

The worst part of the show was the two celebrity editions as well as the third real of the show. The celebrity editions were far to gimmicky for a smart reality show like the Mole, and the third season had none of the charm that the original two seasons did.

Where did the show go wrong?

When Anderson Cooper left the show it really lost something special.

What is our favorite/most memorable scene?

The clothesline challenge in season 2 where Al, Bribs, and Darwin were arguing about whether they should have stopped to buy beer while wearing lingerie and a bunny suit, Anderson's fun house with Al in the Tiny Bubbles room, the hotel challenge in season 1 where Katherine, Steve, and Jim had to break out of their rooms, 751 sheep, the blueberry debacle, and the Gladiator challenge.

Who are our favorite contestants and why?

In Season 1 we liked Steven, Jim, and Katherine. Steven and Jim would both have been very deserving winners because they truly played the game from the beginning with a secret alliance and good strategy. Katherine also did a good job of hiding her identity as the mole. In season 2 we liked Al, Dorothy, and Darwin. Al was very entertaining and had a lot of good quotes, Dorothy was very smart and deserved to win, and Darwin's strategies were funny to watch.
