Power Rangers was one of our favorite shows when we were younger, though we only watched the Mighty Morphin seasons up until Jason, Trini, and Zack left.  In more recent years, we have seen many more episodes and also enjoyed the Zeo and Turbo seasons.  How could we have stopped watching just as Adam came on to the show, what were we thinking?

Power Rangers started as a show about five "teens with attitude" selected to defend the town of Angel Grove against the force of evil known as Rita Repulsa.  It went through many cast and story changes, but the basic premise remains the same even today.  We enjoyed the show during the Mighty Morphin, Zeo, and Turbo seasons because even though there were some character changes, most of the ones we liked stayed throughout those years.  After Turbo, every season has a different cast and not much continuity from the seasons before it.  There were also two full length movies made - one for Mighty Morphin, and one for Turbo.

The best part of the show was the character of Adam Park because we are huge fans of Johnny Yong Bosch.  Our old answer would have been Tommy and Kimberly and their relationship, and although we still think that they are cute, it is not our favorite part of the show anymore.  Being fans of Johnny's voiceover work is what got us back into Power Rangers, and Adam is a great character.  We just love Johnny!

The bad guys were the worst part because they were not only stupid, but also incredibly corny.  We wish that they had done less on the "power ranger" part and more on them as regular teens, but then again, that would kind of defeat the purpose of the show.  Maybe it would have been better if they hadn't morphed as much as they did.  The characters were all interesting enough, and we wish they had gone deeper into their character development, but it was a kids show.

In our opinion, the show went wrong when Kimberly was replaced with Kat.  Pretty much all the fans that we've talked to stopped watching after Kimberly left the show.  Oh yeah, and if didn't go wrong then, then it most certainly went wrong when Kimberly sent the letter to Tommy saying she met another guy.  That was completely out of character for her and it went against everything the fans wanted, as most people seemed to love Tommy and Kimberly together.  But even then, the show was still pretty watchable, so we would say it went wrong when they added all those weird seasons after all the original characters left.

The end of the episode "Instrument of Destruction" when Adam found out that Skull played the piano, the "Wild West Rangers" episode, when Tommy came back as the white ranger, when Adam said "I'm a frog" in the first movie, Rocky playing Pachinko, when Zedd put a spell on Rita to make her fall in love with him, when Bulk and Skull found Rito and Goldar and took them in as "pets", when Jason came back in "Forever Red", and when Adam came back and risked his life to morph with his broken black ranger morpher in that "Power Rangers in Space" episode.

Adam, Tommy, and Kimberly were our favorite characters.  We always liked Tommy and Kimberly when we were younger and became huge fans of Adam when we watched the show more recently.  Tommy was the coolest ranger and became the fan favorite even over the leader Jason.  Kimberly was the girly pink ranger and was the obvious choice for two little girls' favorite character.  Adam was played by Johnny Yong Bosch, so how could we not like him?  Other than that, Adam was actually a really good character and was so cute and shy.  The episodes centered around his character were some of the most interesting.
