After the Command Center implodes, the Rangers are left wondering the fates of Zordon, Alpha, and their powers.  Meanwhile, the Machine Empire takes over Rita and Zedd's home, forcing them to evaculate and stay with Rita's father.  The Rangers find the Zeo Crystal intact and it transports them to the new Command Center that Alpha and Zordon had built in case something happened to the original one.
