He is a cool and popular rebel. She is a Baptist's daughter who spends her time reading the bible. They could have nothing in common right? But when their two worlds collide they find that opposites really do attract.  (They are from the movie and book "A Walk to Remember").
Jamie & Landon Info

Landon was cool and popular. He thought his life was going great. But when he and his friends pull a prank and someone gets seriously injured, Landon finds himself in a lot of trouble. As punishment, Landon has to tutor a child at a disadvantaged school and participate in his school's upcoming spring play. Landon realizes he is in way over his head and asks Jamie for help. She agrees on one condition, that he doesn't fall in love with her.

The pair grow closer and closer and Landon realizes he has fallen for Jamie when she is singing in the school play and they kiss. Over the next few weeks the two are inseparable and when she tells Landon some of the goals she has in life he does all that he can to make those dreams a reality. But his happiness is short lived when Jamie gives him some news that will shatter his world. Jamie tells him that she has leukemia and that she has stopped responding to treatment... she is going to die.

Landon races off to his father who he has not been in contact with since he walked out on him and his mother. He pleads for help but when his father tells him there is nothing he can do to cure her he storms off, frustrated. He then resolves to stand by Jamie and make the time she has left the best it can be. Jamie becomes weaker and sicker and soon has to be put into hospital and Landon forgives his father when he finds that he is paying for Jamie to be taken care of at home. Landon gives Jamie the number one thing on her list of goals: to get married in the church where her mother got married.

They spend the summer together before Jamie passes away peacefully. Four years later, he goes into Jamie's father's house and gives him the book that Jamie gave him full of quotes from her mother's favorite books. “I'm just sorry Jamie never got her miracle” Landon says. “Oh but she did” Mr. Sullivan replies, “it was you”.

Jamie & Landon's Quote

This quote is from the very end of the movie.

Landon: "Jamie saved my life; she taught me everything. About life, hope and the long journey ahead. I'll always miss her. But our love is like the wind. I can't see it… but I can feel it."

Jamie & Landon's Future

Had Jamie lived I think her and Landon would have traveled a bit and then settled down and had a family together with the help of Jamie's father and Landon's parents.
