George and Nico are from the Broken Sword series, which is both a cartoon and video game. George was an American tourist who was in Paris on Vacation, Nico was a Parisian Reporter who is struggling to find the story that would help her career.

George and Nico met in Paris one Fall morning after the cafe they were at blew up and one of the victims of the blast died suddenly. They decided to work together to find the killer only George after traveling all over Europe and the Middle East searching for the killer began to miss her. And started to fall for her, she was also impressed that he would risk his life to solve a mystery. When the Mystery dives further into place, they find out about a Church in Scotland, they blow the church up with all of the bad guys in, solving the mystery and ending up in each others arms.

They have been on other adventures since then and both of them get jealous of each other when they talk to other men/women. In the 3rd Game they separated because of their long distance away from each other but when they find each other again. You can bet there is some chemistry.

This adventurous couple no matter where they are in the world will always find each other.
