So Craig was the new guy of Degrassi when they first met, and Manny was just a cute, shy girl. Craig lived with his abusive father and then he moved in with Joey. Not long after, his father died. Then Craig started a band with his friends. He cheated on his girlfriend Ashley with Manny and got her pregnant. The triangle soon broke up. Then he started going out with Ashley again. Then he found out he was bipolar. So Ashley dumped him, and then he befriended Ellie Nash, but realized his true feelings were for Manny.

As Manny her history on the show begins with Craig. Manny thought Craig would like her best friend Emma Nelson, but Craig surprised both girls when he asked Manny to dance. Then they went out on a date and broke up the next day. Manny was sick of everybody thinking that she's cute and she decided to change her look. That got Craig to notice her once again. So the affair began. Manny didn't enjoy being the other girl so she forced Craig to make a choice and he wouldn't so she dumped him. Then she found out she was pregnant causing her and Craig to get back together for a short period of time. Then she had an abortion. Although both didn't really seem to move on. When he new crush J.T, started coming around Craig would come and start talking to her.

In season for when those two were kissing Craig just happened to be lurking the halls. Then she and J.T broke up. When she liked Spinner and Spinner liked her, Craig and Spinner fought over her even though he was on the road getting back together with Ashley. Then he called her a mistake. Bad idea, but it didn't stop there. In season 5 Peter a guy who video taped Manny drunk, because her father called her a slut, was following Manny in the halls. Craig told him to leave her alone. Then they started talking about the video tape. Craig said he wish he could have been there to stop Peter from filming her. Then at the end of the episode they get back together.
