Phoebe was the youngest sister of three sisters when she met Cole. Cole had come to help Prue and Phoebe with a case on this creep who kept killing people. It wasn't till the end of the episode where we found out Cole was in fact a demon sent to kill three sisters. In a couple of episodes later we found out that Cole and Phoebe were soul mates. Phoebe had blown on an apple peal and it went in to a bucket of water, shaping in to a C, C for Cole, and not Coop or Cupid. Later Phoebe had become really interested in Cole. Prue had hurt Cole, but Phoebe defended him, but we'll get to that later. Anyway, at the very end of the episode it was implied that the two had sex.

In the very next episode it had Cole and Phoebe waking up next to each other. But the dream turned in to a nightmare when Cole pictured himself killing the girl. But also in the episode, Cole found himself truly fall in love with Phoebe. He realized when she came over to talk to him about what had happened between the fight of her and her sister, Piper and Prue. He was ready to kill her and then he stopped. He told her to go and make amends.

Finally, he revealed himself to be the mighty Baltizar. Phoebe was mad, but she let him go. She only made it look like he was dead. Then, he came back one week telling her that he was back for good. The witch was enraged with this news, but at the end of the episode, they were once again shown still falling for each other. An episode later, Cole went to the Wild West for Phoebe as she was dying and they got back together. But trouble was nearing. Another demand wanted to turn Cole back and the only way to do that was by destroying Phoebe's faith in Cole. He made Cole destroy a witch. But then Phoebe was turned in to a banshee. Piper summoned Cole to fix things and he did. The two started fighting, but Cole pushed her off and told Phoebe that he loved her. An explanation was given is to why Cole killed the witch. Then the spell was broken.

Then Phoebe snuck away to free Cole from the spell he was under, but during all of this Prue died bringing on Paige Matthews. Next, Cole proposed to Phoebe during a fight with an evil green guy. When the guy had blown up, green goo were all over Phoebe and Cole, and Phoebe was on top of him. The two were laughing and the words came from his mouth. At first, she didn't accept the offer, but the problem wasn't Cole, it was herself. But weeks later when the two possessed by two ghosts, Frank and Lulu, Cole almost lost his life and Phoebe decided that she should marry Cole. Then the stupid Sorce of All Evil interrupts the happy ending and screws everything up.

Phoebe had a vision of the Sorce blasting Cole because he had to save her. Phoebe decided to keep Cole away, but then she needed help and told him. Cole told her of course he would risk his life for her safety. Thus the first Sorce was dead. But Cole was sadly chosen to be the new Sorce. He was in total fear of this and Phoebe needed magical help to her. She summoned her future self and past self. Her past revealed a love of Cinderella and implied that Cole was Phoebe's Prince Charming. Cole merely held back from smiling. And future Phoebe said that she would always love Cole. She even gave her life for him. Now Cole and Phoebe were married. Not too long after she was found out pregnant. The episode was just a big blow up. Cole was about to give up his position as the Sorce but Phoebe didn't let him. So the episode after he died and so did the baby. Cole ended up in a lover's hell where all the demands with a heart go. He escaped and came back. He did everything in his power to win back Phoebe's heart, but it did not work. There for he died once again. But even after, Cole was still being brought up. Then Phoebe had a new beau that Cole sent out for Phoebe. That and he helped Piper out. He told Piper not give up on love otherwise Phoebe would. So even though he was already dead he managed to save Phoebe's life and heart.

Phoebe: "Friends?"

Cole: "Well, I hope we're more than that."

Cole: "I'm no angel."

Phoebe: "That's okay. Neither am I."

Cole: "Damn it Phoebe! I love you."

Phoebe: "Stay away from me. Just stay away!"

Cole: "You're not the only one hurting here. We both are."

Phoebe: "We are not using the love of my life as bait."

Cole: "Oh, yes we are."

~~~

Phoebe: "Cole, me not wanting to marry you ha nothing to do with you. I'm just not ready yet. But that still doesn't mean we can't live in sin."

Cole: *laughing* "Marry me?"

Phoebe: "What?"

Phoebe: "Guess who."

Cole: "Mmm... Paige?"

Man: "It is a C."

Phoebe: "Cole..."

Phoebe ended up marrying Cupid or Coop. C was once again a famous letter. But I still think it meant Cole. But everything changed from there. But even though it wasn't said, Phoebe still loved Cole which is why in another life she sacrificed her own life to save him from dying.
