Ken Hidaka was a soccer player on a professional team until an incident (that was of no fault of his own) caused him to lose his spot on the team. He joined Weiß and proved to be an invaluable asset to the team on more than one occasion. Weiß was a four member team that was given missions to kill people who the law would not normally take care of. The group hid their true professions by running a flower shop during the day and carrying out their missions at night. Throughout the entire series he felt remorse for killing one of his former friends during a mission and occasionally questioned if what the team was doing was right. Even though Ken no longer played soccer professionally, he still loved the game and enjoyed coaching kids teams. Ken had a very fun and caring personality, although he occasionally had his brooding moments.
Omi Tsukiyono, the youngest member of Weiß, was actually part of the Takatori family that the team hunted for the entire first season. Omi had blocked out much of his past and when he found out the truth, he had a personal crisis and did not know whether to protect his blood relatives or remain true to Weiß. In the end, he stuck by the side of his friends and always proved to be a someone they could count on. He was a computer genius and his cheery and upbeat personality drew others to him. Omi had more emotional breakdowns than any of the other team members though, and the question of whether or not they had the right to take the lives of others always weighed heavily on his mind.
Ken and Omi were really good friends, probably the closest on the team, although Yohji really seemed to enjoy teasing Ken. Ken was probably the most underdeveloped character out of the four members of Weiß, because he only had about three episodes focusing on him and his story. (Whereas it seemed every other one was about Aya or Omi.) Ken and Omi did not have many scenes together early in the series, but on the last two disks (episodes 15 - 25) they were around each other a lot. In the last episode, when Omi expressed his desire for Ken to be careful, Yohji teased them about it as Ken blushed and glanced nervously back at Omi. And how adorable was it a few episodes before that when Omi was hurt and collapsed into Ken's arms? (Who then held him close to his chest while he screamed for Aya and Yohji to hurry up because Omi was in trouble.)
During the battles, they seemed to watch out for each other a lot. If one of their names was ever called out, it was more than likely the other one who was saying it. And again in the last episode, when they were both being attacked, the other one summoned up the strength to help them. They just had a lot of cute scenes and just sent off this vibe that they really cared deeply about each other. And it was quite possible that their feelings went deeper than friendship, which is why I wanted to add them in here.

Judging from the original anime series, Ken and Omi would probably remain close as they continued working with Weiß. I imagine that they would help each other battle their demons from the past and questions of right and wrong. They really seemed to be getting closer towards the end of the series, so I imagine that their friendship would continue going down this path. Hopefully it would evolve into a real relationship that would carry them through whatever they needed to face together.
"Knight Hunters: Eternity" showed Ken and Omi meeting up during a mission after not working together for awhile. It took them a bit to get comfortable around one another again, but they did seem to care about each other near the end of that series as well. I don't think it is too much of a stretch to picture them together after the events in that series ended, although Ken's mental state was a bit questionable. "Eternity" was a strange series all around and never did feel like the original show or characters at all, but I still think Ken and Omi had a chance for happiness and could help each other with their demons.

Since Ken and Omi were not romantically involved (at least onscreen), they did not really have any lovey-dovey quotes. However, I thought that this scene in the last episode was quite telling. The leader of Weiss, Aya, was fighting with the leader of Schwarz, Crawford, as Ken and Omi were fighting against other people. The lines that Aya was saying as it showed Ken and Omi helping each other was very interesting.
Crawford: "Why do you fight?" [Omi is pinned to wall by Nagi] "The people you are trying to save aren't worth it. One little push from us and they reveal their true nature. Spreading the violence and killing. Why risk your own life to protect people like that?"
Ken: "Bastard!" [attacks Nagi which releases Omi]
Aya: "There is still hope." [Farfarello grabs Ken and bashes his head into a wall while Omi watches from the floor]
Crawford: "Oh, and what kind of hope is that?"
Aya: "Love for the people around us. For those who are special to us."
Omi: "Ken, nooooo!" [pushes Farfarello off of Ken, who then slumps to the floor]
Aya: "We will always fight to protect that love!"
Crawford: "How sweet." [Omi gets kicked by Farfarello]
Ken: [whispers] "Omi..." [struggles to stand and then attacks Farfarello]
