"Remember never sweat the petty things, and never ever pet the sweaty things." - The Pickled Punks

The Pickled Punks "Completely Mental" show is a hilarious display of many different types of mental abilities peformed by Master Gyre and Master Gimble.  During their show, they attempt to read the minds of audience members, predict the future, see through solid objects, and do lightning mathematics... some of those being more successful than others.  Throughout the festival day, both members of the Pickled Punks are involved in many other shows.  Both are part of Shakespeare's Skum and Master Gyre (Stephon) has a show called Swami Yomahmi while Master Gimble (Steve) performs in the Punch and Judy show.  Steve plays the part of Tiny Tim in Hack and Slash's annual Christmas Special, so it is always nice to see him there as well.  Their full days at the faire may be the reason that the Pickled Punks show was not included in the 2007 season, which is a shame because we really enjoyed it.

The Pickled Punks only performed this particular show once a day, and we always tried to fit it into our schedule.  Each show was different because of the audience participation, and the two guys really work well together.  One of our favorite memories of their show was during the "see through solid objects" part of the show.  Stephon is blindfolded and has to guess what Steve is holding up from the audience.  Steve always asks the audience to hold up objects that they never could have guessed we would have brought, and one time, we brought a Chia pet.  His expression was priceless!
