Josh Groban is an incredibly talented singer and musician.  He sings in many different languages and has a very eclectic collection of songs on his albums.  Josh isn't afraid to try new things with his music and each album finds him pushing himself further and in different directions, while still keeping the elements that his fans fell in love with.

I first heard Josh Groban back in October of 2003, when I heard "To Where You Are" on the radio.  I thought the song was beautiful and was very intrigued with his rich, deep voice, so I went to his official website to find out more about him.  I was very surprised when I found out that he was only in his early 20's, because his voice led me to believe that he was much older.  After listening to the music on his website, I was hooked and bought his sophomore CD, "Closer", as soon as it was released.  I then worked my way backwards through his albums, getting "Josh Groban in Concert" next and then finally his debut album.  Around that time, I was having difficulty finding music to listen to because I don't really like the type of music that is usually on the radio.  So it was such a pleasant surprise when I found a singer that I could really enjoy.

I love the kind of music that Josh sings, and it was him that really got me into listening to music in other languages.  It is fun following Josh's career and seeing which directions it takes.  We've seen him several times in concert now, and it gets better with every one.  He seems like a really fun, down to earth type of guy, and it has also been neat to see his personality come through more in his music as he gets to work more closely with it.  Josh not only is an extremely talented singer, but he is also an accomplished songwriter and musician, and it has been great to see more of his personal touch on each subsequent album.  Josh Groban is my favorite singer, and I can't wait to see where his music will go next.
