Darren Criss
Darren Criss is a musician/actor that became an overnight Youtube sensation and later exploded onto the television landscape with his role on Glee.  Incredibly talented and self-motivated, Darren seems to be on a clear path towards success in everything he decides to do!

To be completely honest, I did not know much of anything about Darren Criss until November of 2010 when he stole my heart as Blaine on the tv show Glee.  It wasn't just me either, as the entire second season of the show sort of became the Blaine show after his first appearance, and Darren started popping up everywhere - no one being immune to his charms.  Not only is he a very talented actor and singer, but he also writes his own music and has helped to produce a number of musicals with his production company StarKid.

Darren seems like such an awesome person, and every interview I have seen of his just reiterates this fact over and over again.  He is a little nutty, but he has fun and you can tell that he is enjoying the heck out of all of the fame and notoriety he has gained.  As a self proclaimed fanboy it seems only fitting that his first brush with fame would be through posting a parody musical version of Harry Potter that he did with his friends on Youtube.  Now, I have no interest whatsoever in the Harry Potter universe (books, films, or otherwise), but I watched and thoroughly enjoyed both "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel".  StarKid Productions is so great at what they do, and I am so glad that Darren's rise in celebrity has allowed them more popularity as well.  I love how he is so passionate about all of his projects and tries to bring as much attention to them as he can.  He is so thoughtful and eloquent when he speaks while still maintaining his quirky humor, and the whole package is just totally awesome.
